New York Times Article. Poorly written, but at least it is a recognition, in the Times, that DMCA can be used in an abusive manner. Gasp! They even reached out to quote TechDirt. Amazing to see a New York Times article that even acknowledges the existence of those opposed to so-called "intellectual property".

Twitter, DMCA Take-Downs & the Prior Restraint of First Amendment Speech

Heck, for that matter it's acknowledgement, in a newspaper, of a blog as a source. That's passing rare.
There really are certain people that we cannot forget. It's either they made a good contribution to our country or tey are the one who are the main reason of our suffering. The person who murdered Malcolm X at point blank range appears to have been paroled. He admitted to the killing of the Civil Rights Movement leader, but says to this day how the other two men arrested with him were not his accomplices. Thomas Hagan was due to be released on Wednesday, but due to the fact his documents was completed early he was paroled Tuesday. He has served 45 years in prison and has attempted for parole 16 times before they approved this one. Really though just how much is going to change. I would bet not much. He obtained his masters degree in sociology, which is a great accomplishment for a prison inmate; and he has been on a work release program for years. He has had 2 days a week for a really long time to go out and operate a normal job.

And how, pray tell, is Malcolm X's assassin relevant to the issue of DMCA takedowns?
